Advanced settings for Connection

Connect on manual start

Default: disabled

Try to find and connect to a V1 immediately after JBV1 is launched, without having to press the CONNECT button.

Connect delay

Default: 3 sec

Options: None, 3 sec, 5 sec, 10 sec, 15 sec, 20 sec, 30 sec, 45 sec, 60 sec

A delay is useful when your dongle and/or V1 turn on when you turn the key or push the start button, briefly lose power while the engine is cranking, and then turn on again after the engine is running.

Announce data timeout

Default: disabled

Announce when not receiving data from V1.

Chirp on data timeout

Default: enabled

Play a chirping sound when not receiving data from V1.

Auto quit delay

Default: 5 sec

Options: No delay/prompt, 3 sec, 5 sec, 10 sec, 15 sec, 20 sec, 30 sec

When a delay is selected and you're not moving, JBV1 will prompt you to either continue running or quit. If you select continue running, JBV1 will look for your V1 while it continues alerting to other types of alerts. If you don't respond to the prompt, JBV1 will auto quit after the selected delay.

When you're moving, JBV1 will automatically continue running while it looks for your V1.
