V1 Gen2 and V1C-LE dongles ("V1 LE" on one side) are preferred because they offer lower latency and low-power auto start triggers.
PAIRING OF THIS ANDROID DEVICE TO A V1 GEN2 or V1C-LE DONGLE IS NOT REQUIRED. DO NOT ATTEMPT.
LE device priority
Options: First Available, V1 Gen2, V1C-LE
Default: First Available
When V1 Gen2 or V1C-LE is selected, JBV1 will wait up to 5 seconds to find a device of the selected type. If none is found, JBV1 will try to connect to whatever V1 device it found first.
JBV1 will auto start when it finds and connects to a V1 device permitted to initiate an auto start (see V1 devices above). If this V1 device disconnects while your vehicle is not moving, JBV1 will auto stop.
TMG auto start
Default: disabled
JBV1 will auto start when it finds and connects to a TMG device as specified in TMG a-15 settings. If this TMG device disconnects while your vehicle is not moving, and a V1 device is not connected, JBV1 will auto stop.
Only while connected to power
Default: disabled
JBV1 will scan for and auto start on V1 or TMG only while this device is connected to power.
Only while connected to Bluetooth device
Default: disabled
JBV1 will scan for and auto start on V1 or TMG only while this device is connected to the selected Bluetooth device.
Auto start on Android Auto connection
Default: disabled
JBV1 will auto start when Android Auto connects to a car radio. If JBV1 doesn't subsequently detect and connect to a V1 or TMG device, it will auto stop when Android Auto disconnects.
Auto start on Bluetooth connection
Default: disabled
Three Bluetooth devices may be selected.
JBV1 will auto start when this device connects to the selected Bluetooth device(s). If JBV1 doesn't subsequently detect and connect to a V1 or TMG device, it will auto stop when the device is disconnected.
Auto start on Wi-Fi connection
Default: disabled
JBV1 will auto start when this device connects to the Wi-Fi network specified by Network SSID, or any Wi-Fi network if unspecified (not recommended). If JBV1 doesn't subsequently detect and connect to a V1 or TMG device, it will auto stop when the device disconnects from the Wi-Fi network.
Auto start on power connected
Default: disabled
Not recommended if this device is ever charged outside of a vehicle.
